We are looking for a Web Designer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex WordPress websites. This role suits an experienced developer who can deliver high-quality solutions, guide junior team members, and ensure best practices are followed.
Responsibilities
You will manage full-cycle WordPress projects, including custom theme and plugin development, site optimization, and security enhancements. Collaborating with designers and content teams, you will ensure websites are scalable, fast, and responsive. You will also troubleshoot advanced issues and mentor junior developers.
Preferred Skills
Strong expertise in WordPress core, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Experience with popular page builders like Elementor and Gutenberg is expected. Knowledge of REST API integration, WooCommerce, and performance tuning will be a plus. Leadership, problem-solving skills, and clear communication are highly valued.
Education
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience with WordPress development through a solid portfolio, relevant certifications, or advanced training is important.
